Vintage Aviation Movie Night: Zero Hour (1957)

Join us for THE classic disaster movie parody on October 17th at our monthly aviation movie night! We’re showing “Zero Hour,” the original melodrama that the 1980 spoof hit “Airplane!” was based on! If you are a super fan of Airplane, it’s a must-see; tons of lines and scenes were lifted word-for-word.

To make it more fun, we’re doing a companion/follow-up showing of “Airplane!” on November 21st, so mark your calendars for both!
Pizza, popcorn, and soft drinks served at 6:30, movie starts at 7pm. You’ll have a blast seeing just how much that parody stole from this original.

The Movie: “Zero Hour!” (1980)
In 1950s Canada, during a commercial flight, the pilots and some passengers suffer food poisoning, thus forcing an ex-WW2 fighter pilot to try to land the airliner in heavy fog in spite of his extreme post-war aversion to flying.
