The Lindbergh Bird

One of the coolest things about the Kelch Aviation Museum? The planes on display are real historic treasures AND many still fly! Case in point: The gorgeous baby blue Bird biplane that Charles Lindbergh bought customized for his wife, Anne, is on display right here at the Kelch Aviation Museum!

The Lindbergh Bird is privately owned and usually flies in Maryland – but for this winter only, it’s on display in the midwest! Come see it yourself: Kelch Aviation Museum is open 10am to 4pm Wednesday through Sunday, located at Brodhead Airport C37, less than two hours from Chicago and Milwaukee.
